From the U.S. Amateur Public Links, U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Mid-Amateur Championships, the winners the last three years (2007-2009) and the runners- up from 2009 (must be an amateur)

Winner of the 2009 USGA Senior Amateur Championship (must be an amateur)

Playing members of the 2007 and 2009 USA and Great Britain and Ireland Walker Cup and the 2006 and 2008 USA Men’s World Amateur Teams (must be an amateur)

Low eight individual finishers and ties from the 2008 Men’s World Amateur Team Championship (must be an amateur)

Playing members of the 2010 USA Men’s Copa de las Americas Team

Winner of the 2010 individual NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship (must be an amateur)

Playing members of the five most current United States and European Ryder Cup and United States and World Presidents Cup Teams
