Autographs
Spectators should keep in mind that the players’ first responsibility during U.S. Open week is to compete for the National Championship. For this reason, a "no autograph" policy is in effect throughout Championship week. Spectators should not approach a player for an autograph from the time immediately preceding the player’s starting time up to and including the player’s completion of his round, including the time when the player is at the Practice Areas or en route to his first tee. This policy applies to Practice Rounds as well as Championship Rounds.

Camera Policy
Cameras and camcorders are only allowed on site at the course during Practice Rounds, Monday through Wednesday, for personal photographic use only and without their cases.

Corporate Hospitality
USGA Corporate Hospitality facilities are located on site. Only the specific ticket for each corporate hospitality facility provides access into that facility. Children will also need the specific corporate hospitality ticket to gain access into corporate hospitality facilities since regular Junior tickets do not provide access. Disabled Spectators
The USGA is pleased to provide the following services to our spectators with disabilities:

• Accessible parking spaces will be available at all Championship parking areas.

• Wheelchair accessible vehicles will be available to transport spectators with disabilities to and from the course.

• Our Disabled Services Committee will be on site to transport spectators to and from admission gates and designated viewing areas around the course.

• Motorized scooters will be available for spectators with disabilities, on a first-come, first-served basis, compliments of the USGA and Pride Mobility.

• TTY’s/TDD’s will be located in the Disabled Services Tent at the Main Admission and the USGA/Media Admission Gates.

• Accessible restroom facilities will be available at port-a-let locations throughout the course.

First-Aid Stations
First-Aid Stations will be located at the Main Admission Gate and the Practice Range. A handful of satellite first-aid stations will be located around the course. All first-aid stations will be staffed with emergency medical technicians. If a medical emergency arises, please notify a U.S. Open volunteer or USGA official.

Food and Beverage Service
There will be approximately 20 concession stand locations on the course that will have food and beverages for purchase.

Grandstands
Grandstands will be located at strategic viewing areas. There is no reserved grandstand seating; seating is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Junior Tickets
Juniors 12 and younger will be admitted free of charge, on any day, when accompanied by a valid adult ticket holder. These tickets will be available at the Will Call facilities and all Admission Gates.

Juniors 13 to 17 will be admitted at a reduced rate when accompanied by a valid adult ticket holder. These tickets can be purchased by credit card at the Will Call facilities and all Admission Gates. Practice Rounds $15; Championship Rounds $30.

Lexus
Visit the Lexus Performance Drive Tent, across from the Main Merchandise Pavilion, and get your complimentary photograph with the U.S. Open trophy. Return to the tent often, as Lexus will continue to present exciting activities throughout the week while showcasing the latest in its luxury vehicle line.

Lost And Found
Any lost and found items will be taken to the Lost and Found Headquarters located in the security trailer next to the Will Call facility at the Main Admission Gate.

Merchandise Pavilion
The Main Merchandise Pavilion covering more than 39,000 square feet will be located adjacent to the first hole. A variety of merchandise bearing the U.S. Open logo will be offered. Some of the merchandise available for purchase includes caps, shirts, T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, lanyards, artwork, lapel pins, golf balls, ball mark repair tools, ball markers, towels and much, much more.

Acceptable forms of payment are: U.S. dollars, travelers checks, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa and debit cards. Personal checks are not accepted. Satellite Merchandise Tents will be located at the Main Admission Gate and the food court between Holes 9, 15 and 17.

Pre –Championship:
Main Merchandise Pavilion
June 5th – 8th (Thursday through Sunday)
10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Pre-Championship, the Main Merchandise Pavilion is open to the public. No credentials will be required to enter the Main Merchandise Pavilion during these days, however, the course and other facilities will be closed to the public. Please follow posted signs for parking.

During Championship Week:
Main Merchandise Pavilion and Satellite Merchandise Tents
June 9th – 15th (Monday through Sunday)
7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Since the Main Merchandise Pavilion and Satellite Merchandise Tents are located on the Championship grounds, you must have a U.S. Open ticket or credential to gain entry to the Main Merchandise Pavilion and Satellite Merchandise Tents during Championship week.

Security
We appreciate your patience and cooperation with all of the U.S. Open’s security procedures.

Spectators, volunteers and staff will not be allowed on the shuttle buses or through an Admission Gate with any of the items listed below. Please be sure to read the following list of prohibited items carefully:

No Cell Phones — including any cell phones with photographic capabilities
No PDAs and/or other Portable E-mail Devices
No Noise Producing Electronic Devices
No Cameras and/or Camcorders (other than Monday through Wednesday for personal photographic use only and without their cases)
No Bag larger than 8"W x 8"H x 8"D in its natural state
No Cases and/or Covers (such as chair or umbrella covers)
No Signs, Posters and/or Banners
No Televisions and/or Radios
No Food and/or Beverage
No Containers and/or Coolers
No Pets (other than service animals)
No Lawn and/or Folding Armchairs
No Bicycles
No Ladders
No Metal-spiked Golf Shoes
No Weapons (regardless of permit, including but not limited to firearms or knives)
Any other items deemed unlawful or dangerous by the USGA and/or Championship Security Personnel, in their sole discretion.

Spectator Guidelines
If you observe the following guidelines, your experience at the U.S. Open will be a more enjoyable one:

  • Your U.S. Open ticket must be displayed at all times.
  • Check daily pairings and tee times available online at www.usopen.com.
  • Please stay behind gallery ropes and cooperate with the marshals at all times.

• Please be considerate of others and kneel or sit if you are in the front row of the gallery.

• Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.

• To ensure your safety at all times, walk carefully and never run.

• The U.S. Open involves substantial walking on grassy hills, dirt paths and other uneven surfaces. Please wear appropriate footwear such as sneakers.

Transportation
Torrey Pines Golf Course is located approximately 15 miles north of downtown San Diego, California.

Car – Complimentary general spectator parking will be provided at Qualcomm Stadium in the Mission Valley area of San Diego, located about 13 miles southeast of the golf course. Complimentary transportation will be provided to and from the Main Admission Gate. This shuttle bus ride should take 25 - 30 minutes depending on traffic. Please note: There is no general spectator parking available in the immediate vicinity of the golf course. All other parking is by permit only.

General spectator parking will provide preferred parking for the disabled with a handicap license plate or hangtag. For spectators who are wheelchair bound, require supplemental oxygen or have any other special needs please call the Championship Office at 412-435-0067 to make arrangements. Specially equipped vans will be available to shuttle disabled spectators who are confined to a wheelchair or who require supplemental oxygen to the Championship.

MTS Trolley – The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System Trolley provides convenient, regular service to Qualcomm Stadium from various points in the San Diego area including Mission Valley (Green Line), Downtown (Blue Line to Green Line) and East County (Orange Line to Green Line). A variety of MTS Day Passes make travel easy and economical and can be purchased at Trolley Station ticket machines, at the Transit Store in downtown or in advance on the MTS Web site www.sdmts.com. Please visit www.sdmts.com for route, schedule and trip planning information and the locations of nearby Trolley Stations offering free parking. Travel Tips for the U.S. Open: Travel early and allow plenty of time to get to Qualcomm Stadium and transfer to the Championship shuttle buses that will take you to the U.S. Open.

Passenger, Taxi or Limousine Drop Off – Passenger, Taxi or Limousine drop-off will only be allowed at the designated area in close proximity to the Main Admission Gate. There is no parking or standing, so please coordinate pickup times accordingly. Due to traffic restrictions, access is limited to vehicles no larger than a 15 passenger van or limousine. Please follow signs to the appropriate drop-off location.

Spectator Directions To Qualcomm Stadium

From points North using Interstate 5
Take Interstate 5 South to Exit 20 (Interstate 8 East). Take Interstate 8 East for approximately 3.5 miles and Exit Right following signs to Qualcomm Way. Take Qualcomm Way for approximately .5 miles and turn Right onto Friars Road East. Follow Friars Road East for approximately 1.5 miles and turn Right into Qualcomm Stadium.

From points North using Interstate 15
Take Interstate 15 South to Exit 7 (Friars Road). Turn Right on Friars Road West for approximately .5 miles. Turn Left into Qualcomm Stadium.

From points South using Interstate 805
Take Interstate 805 North to Interstate 15 North. Take Interstate 15 North to Friars Road West Exit. Turn Right on Friars Road West for approximately 1 mile. Turn Left into Qualcomm Stadium.

From Downtown using Freeway 163
Take Freeway 163 North to Friars Road East Exit. Follow Friars Road East for approximately 2.25 miles. Turn Right into Qualcomm Stadium.

From points East using Interstate 8
Take Interstate 8 West to Interstate 15 North. Take Interstate 15 North to Friars Road West Exit. Follow Friars Road West for approximately 1 mile. Turn Left into Qualcomm Stadium.

From points West using Interstate 8
Take Interstate 8 East to the Qualcomm Way Exit. Exit Right following signs to Qualcomm Way. Take Qualcomm Way for approximately .5 miles and turn Right onto Friars Road East. Follow Friars Road East for approximately 1 mile. Turn Right into Qualcomm Stadium.

Trophy Club
The Trophy Club is an exclusive on-site, air-conditioned tent which is conveniently located behind the second and fifth tee with comfortable seating and televisions for live U.S. Open coverage. Trophy Club tickets are needed to access this tent. Food and beverage is available for additional purchase. Sample menu items include made-to-order omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon and fresh fruit in the morning and Philly cheese steak, grilled chicken and blackened mahi mahi sandwiches along with fish tacos in the afternoon. Coffee, soda, beer, wine and mixed drinks are available. Acceptable forms of payment are: U.S. dollars, travelers checks, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. Upscale, air-conditioned restrooms are conveniently located adjacent to the tent.

Weather Warning
The USGA will have meteorology staff on site monitoring the possibility of inclement weather. If inclement weather is approaching, special "weather warning" signs like the one to the left will be posted on leader boards around the course. When the sign appears, spectators are advised to take immediate precautions (including clearing grandstands) PRIOR to play being suspended. In the event of a weather warning, please avoid: open areas, hilltops, high places, isolated trees, golf carts and wire fences. If play is suspended, which will be indicated by one prolonged air-horn blast, please close your umbrella and seek shelter. In the event of a suspension of play, grandstands will be cleared immediately.

Will Call
There will be two Will Call facilities conveniently located on site for spectators to drop off and pick up tickets. The Main Will Call will be located at the Main Admission Gate and Will Call 2 will be located at the USGA/Media Admission Gate. Photo identification will be required to pick up any tickets left at Will Call. Will Call facilities cannot be accessed by vehicles at anytime.
